The Story

Why "Emerald"? Because it distills the deepest, most mesmerizing green nature has to offer. This is the first drink in our Gemstone Collection, dedicated to anyone who appreciates clean aesthetics — no syrups, no unnecessary "noise." Just a pure extraction of organic basil and gin that meets lemon and lemonade to create the perfect Velvety Basil Sour — crisp, garden-bright, and grown-up.

How We Make It

1

Muddle

Place 4–6 fresh organic basil leaves into a shaker and muddle gently.

2

Pour

Add 60ml gin, 30ml lemon juice, 30ml simple syrup, and 60ml lemonade to the shaker.

3

Shaker & Ice

Fill a shaker with ice and chill a lowball glass on the side.

4

Shake

Shake hard for about 12 seconds until the shaker is frozen on the outside and the ingredients fully integrate.

5

Strain & Garnish

Strain into a chilled lowball glass through a double strainer and garnish with a fresh basil leaf.

Bartender Tips

Always Fresh Lemon

Freshly squeezed lemon juice is the key to balance. Pre-made lemon juice loses its vitality and changes the entire equation.

Fresh Basil Only

Use only fresh, vibrant green basil leaves. Wilted or darkened basil will alter the taste and color of the drink.

Double Strain

Always double strain to prevent basil pieces from reaching the glass. The drink should be perfectly smooth and clean.
